Tristan Thompson’s daughter True is 7 — and the proud dad can’t even believe it.
Thompson, 34, celebrated True’s big day via a touching post shared on Instagram on Sunday, April 13. “Twinny!! My TuTu is 7 today!! I Can’t believe how time flies,” Thompson wrote in the caption, alongside a series of photos featuring the newly-minted 7-year-old. “Momma you are literally the light that shines bright In my life. “When I see you I see mommy aka GiGi.”
“True you bring your brothers, mommy and all your cousins soo much happiness you literally spark any room you walk in,” he continued. “You have the best soul ever I’m soo blessed to have as my daughter. Keep being amazing each and every day. Daddy always got you. I can’t wait to play tag and jump on the trampoline. I love you Twin 🤞🏾❤️”
True’s mother, Khloé Kardashian, commented on her ex’s tribute, writing, “Awww this was sweet! I can’t believe she’s 7.”

The post notably featured photos of True with her younger brother Tatum, who Tristan also shares with Kardashian, as well as with his older son Prince Oliver, 8. The post did not, however, feature Theo, the now 3-year-old Tristan shares with Maralee Nichols. Theo was born one month after Tatum was conceived via surrogate, and Tristan has not shared photos of his youngest son since 2022.
In March 2024, Tristan was ordered to pay Nichols $58k in back child support.
In honor of their daughter’s special day, Kardashian threw True a pretty epic neon-themed party. The reality TV star shared photos that showed True and her cousins dancing on a light-up dance floor to songs spun by DJ Sasha Brens, including Nicki Minaj’s “Starships,” on Sunday.
“True’s birthday! Rainbow Friends. Wow!” the 41-year-old said in one clip. In another, she featured an art station complete with glow-in-the-dark slime and beads. Kardashian and True each got rainbow-themed manicures before the party, and her little brother was spotted on the dance floor.

On Thursday, April 10, Kardashian spoke to Us Weekly about her relationship status and why she’s spending her time focused on her kids. She said True and Tatum are a major reason why she’s committed to celibacy at this time in her life.
“I still have young kids — not that I’m saying I’m gonna wait till they’re 20, but I think you’re gonna have to be really, really special for me to want to add another person in the mix that I would have to share my time with another person and my children,” she explained.

She also spoke about the work she’s done for her future. “And now I feel like I’m really strong, and I pray I can identify certain red flags or certain things that I don’t want to receive anymore. And I think you’re going to have to be really special to either disrupt my current lifestyle, my schedule and how I prioritize my time, and just to even make me feel those butterflies. I think I’m pretty guarded right now, so it will have to be a special, persistent person,” she explained.
